Jason Toner has been an active member of Canada’s design and art community since graduating from George Brown College in Toronto in 1997. He is an accomplished brand builder with a deep knowledge of psychology centered around beliefs and “why we buy”. After gaining valuable skills in the Toronto advertising agency system, Jason has recently focused his talents building brands in the East Kootenay region. Notable highlights include: a re-branding of the Continuing Education program at College of the Rockies (Learning for all walks
of life, 2010) including the ConEd guide published 4 times annually and delivered to 35000 residents in the
East Kootenay region.
In 2014, Jason provided brand consultation and graphic design to Columbia Basin Trust for the “Our Trust,
Our Future” campaign, a public research initiative to find ways the Trust can better serve the needs of the Columbia Basin. More recently, in 2016, Jason provided creative, project management and execution support
to the Cranbrook and Kimberley Farmers’ Markets “Our Communities Grow Here ” campaign, including a
well-produced series of short films released in 2016 on YouTube.
